My New Skill
I recently acquired a totally useless new skill.....I can rip a phone book in half with my bare hands. I have done it a few times for others and people seem to get a kick out of it.
Of course, this skill has very little real world application....or so I thought at first.
As the father of a 16 year old daughter, I will soon have boys showing up for date nights. My idea is to have Tracy or Whitney open the door when her date arrives, while I stand in the background ripping phone books in half.
My guess is these young men will gain a much deeper appreciation of words like "curfew", "abstinence" and "pain".

He can do large or small phone books. What a strong guy!
Yes.....the less I like a prospective date, the bigger phone book I plan to rip. :-)
I think that's a very useful skill, really. Very intimidating. I think we're just going to get a gun and whenever a date shows up, Jeremy will just be siting on the couch, cleaning it.
Actually my skill is denting cans of soup with my head. It kinda fits into the same category as ripping phonebooks I think.
I think both techniques will work great (yours and Jeremy's). You know that song about the dad that will be cleaning his gun when the boy brings her home.
That would be very intimidating if I was a youngster and seen someone do that!
That would be very intimidating. As of now, we have boys and will not have to worry about that. However, if we do someday have a little girl. Jimmy will have some very useful skills up his sleeve. He might have to work very hard to perfect the skill of phone book ripping. Might need some lessons from Danny. I would'nt want him to try the soup can thing. Might knock himself out!!!! Sorry Jeremy.
